Flying Over the Great Bend of the Gila with EcoFlight

EcoFlight is a nonprofit organization that provides an aerial perspective on environmental campaigns to educate and advocate for remaining wildlands, wildlife habitats, and culturally sensitive landscapes throughout the Western U.S.

Community leaders, journalists, and coalition partners from Arizona recently experienced an EcoFlight over the proposed Great Bend of the Gila National Monument.

Despite its immense cultural, historical, and ecological significance, this precious landscape in the Sonoran Desert is under multiple threats and requires permanent protection.
